This is a smooth cup of coffee. Not like Blue Mountain, but more like coffee from Costa Rica or Guatemala. er.Singing Rooster pays $3 per bag to Haitian farmers, twice as much as "fair trade" coffees available at "Whole-type" grocery stores. It does support a great cause, especially as they are recovering from a devastating hurricane, but I would rather donate to a charity than purchase bad coffee (it's that important to me). This is good coffee, at least the Vienna blend and I will buy more. Feeling good about the purchase is a side benefit.
